I spent over an hour with my mother trying to find a good piercing shop that had good reviews while we were on vacation in the Adirondacks, and this place was the first one we saw with over 4 stars. So, we took our chances, drove an hour out here and found it. It was super simple. We were in and out of there within a half an hour. The lady talked us through the whole piercing and how to clean it and everything. Very helpful! 10/10, would go here again Read Less

I always get a little nerved up when I'm getting a new piercing. I went to Karyssa for my tongue, and she was phenomenal. She made me feel so comfortable, answered all of my questions, took her time to explain things I was too nervous to remember to ask, and was extremely thorough. She explained everything she was going to do before we even started so I knew exactly what I was in for, took her time to make sure I was pleased with the placement, was super calming and reassuring during, and made sure I was OK after. At no point did I feel rushed or that my questions or concerns were invalid or stupid. She honestly goes above and beyond to make sure you're happy. I won't be going anywhere else for my piercing needs. Read Less

I never went to Karyssa for a piercing until my best friend decided to get his ears pierced and I decided to get my nose pierced. Going to karyssa was the best decision I had made. She talked to me the entire time she pierced me, made me feel relaxed and comfortable and talked to me about everything she was doing as she did it. She's pierced my nose, daith, and rook... all of them have healed amazingly. She is definitely my piercer and will pierce everything I get done now. My best friend has gone to Todd for two of his tattoos and loves the work he does! And Todd has done my dads tattoos since I was a little girl and I have always loved his work along with the other tattoo artists! Came to Karyssa with a badly infected nose piercing. The piercing had been done with an earring and put into place with a gun (yes I went to an actual piercing shop to get it done.) She reassured me the whole way, removed the old piercing and put in a new one to help the infection heal and breath. She did a great job, not only did she do a clean job but she also gave me A LOT of cleaning information and made me feel better about the whole situation. Body art has always been my favorite place to go for my piercings. I won't go anywhere else and when I get more tattoos I'll be going there for those as well. It's extremely clean and everyone there is super nice. Karyssa pierced my belly button today and she was awesome!!She is very professional and made me feel really comfortable. She did an excellent job with placement making sure it was straight and lined up with my other belly button piercing. The actual piercing was quick and painless. I highly recommend this place and especially if you have anxiety and want to get a piercing, go to Karyssa.Read Less

I'm amazed there aren't more reviews here. I've been going to Body Art Tattoo for 8 years for tattoos and some piercings and the staff is great. Ryan has done the majority of my pieces and his work is always top notch. On top of being an incredible artist, he does a great job of listening and responding to requests. I moved to DC but travel home for tattoos because the quality of his work is so high. Read Less
